V8 trimatic conversion for Rb VL commodore The trimatic is running in perfect condition shifts nicely and does not leak oil, this is a complete kit with nothing needed to buy The auto has a stage3 fully manualised shift kit in it and I have been told it has had other work to support around 350kws has a 3500 stall. This is the v8 version trimatic which is already a stronger auto then the 6 cyl version. The kit contains a castle main rod shop adaptor plate from the motor to the transmission and has all the nuts and bolts to go with it. it comes with a bnm mega shifter with a box to sit it under the console (including the plastic trims) and all cables and brackets to suit, comes with the trans mount and tail shaft and speedo cable to suit the vl dash. Also included is a one piece tail shaft- 3" thick walled with new uni's and to suit a standard vl borg warner diff... Please note the trans mount is making the trans sit high and on a lowered car the tail shaft slightly touches the body, so if your car is low you should make spacer plates between the body and the trans mount or make a new trans mount. I have started to remove the auto out of the car and should be ready for sale within 1-2 weeks. Asking price: $2,500 for everything. Prefer to sell as a complete kit!
