Hi guys, I'm at my wits end. In my car I am running two alpine 1223 subs with 2 m50 amps, the are wired to 4 ohms. the problem is that when they are hooked up after i turn the volume up on the stereo one of the subs stops putting out sound (always the left one) and wont work even after restarting the car. When the left sub goes it seems as though the right one is getting the power of both the subs as it works harder than bfore ? ie i get much more noise and movement. I have taken everything apart several times, rehooked it back up only for it to do the same thing when i turn the volume right up (well before it can distort) and the left sub to give up. When i plug the right sub's leads into the left sub it works so it cant be the sub itself. All the connections seem to be good and the earths are separate. Can anyone give me any ideas why it would do this and how to fix it ? Thanks
