Hey guys currently having a issue with my vl. when i start the car up im getting close to 14volts according to my autometer gauge when i put on my parkers it drops to 13 then headlights. 12 im running my battery in the boot and are running a turbo timer. and 4x autometer gauges what could be the cause or could my alternator be on the way out

Its because you have alot of things to power. My VL does the same thing. if your volts while the car is running slowly drop over time then you know your alternator is on its way out (if the gague reads 13 in March and by July reads 9 and wont charge above)

Are you running a standard alternator?? Are the belts tight?? Also if the battery is in the boot. What gauge wire did you use??

hey mate, I had kind of the same issue, I put in 100w highbeams in my Calais and the volts dropped alot. I do know that's because I'm using more power but I still had an idea. I gave the plugs for the headlights a good clean with contact cleaner and a wire brush. It improved my volts alot. Maybe try that
