Heres A 86 sl i picked up for 1200 bucks, stock as a rock when i boutght it,. so far ive converted it to a manual using an r32 box and exedy hd clutch, along with stock pedal pack and single piston master. (has original manual gear surround and boot, i have only done a few modifications to it as such, suspension strut brace 18's panard rod steering wheel/gauges sound system extractors and 2.5inch to the back HID lights calais cluster numberplates so once i had finished the conversion, a friend took the car for a drive, (not me im still unliscenced) went and got new tires and stopped by strathfeild, on the way home a ticking noise could be heard on startup and after a good thrashing the motor blew a big end, so that weekend wrecker motor in and away you go again, new motor runs better after ful service and seems to have more power than last, also original motor was a series 1 and this one is a series 2... any power difference???? heres a picture https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150824975223065&set=a.10150091317803065.293468.733573064&type=1&theater) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
