im thinking of converting the vl to manual and wondering if the console will fit from the auto slot to the rubber boot, will i need to cut it or?

the auto slot is in a square pop out section, the manual item pipes back into the hole then goes too the rubber boot.

if i remove the selection plastic piece will it work?
