Doing a powerglide conversion in my r31, was wondering if it was worth upgrading the flex plate? ill be looking at around 500kw at the wheels, what power can a standard one handle? cheers

Im pretty sure it will disintegrate at that power level :S
Sounds like a tough build though

Standard one should last a little while. Prob best to upgrade if you don't want to be changing it at a later date.

Are people literally breaking them? I have pulled out a very bent one at over 500 moroso's but still intact

From lookin' at pigsy's one it literally flexes (funny that) and tears material out of the center in huge chunks like its grinding on the stally or something
