Guys where can I buy various sized metering rods from or atleast make mine smaller to allow more log through from cruise to wot as mine reads 15 and beyond from 1/2 throttle onwards, is there a way of making the diameter smaller with out wrecking the rod?

Ok cool so ya can't buy different size ones off the shelf that are made to suit eg 10psi, 15psi ect

I'm reading it straight from an auto meter wideband gauge

man how do u set up a gauge? ive screwed the wideband o2 sensor into the exhaust and conected it to the gauge as per all the wiring diagrams, there isnt a setting for lpg or petrol......the metering rod is the stock one that comes from gas resaearch in the 440 t/b, like i said on idol it reads 11.5 and idols nice and smoth its just under load it leans right out....i just need to get difrent rods or start maching mine down till its around the 11 mark through the rev range

Lambda Lambda (λ) is the ratio of actual AFR to stoichiometry for a given mixture. Lambda of 1.0 is at stoichiometry, rich mixtures are less than 1.0, and lean mixtures are greater than 1.0. There is a direct relationship between lambda and AFR. To calculate AFR from a given lambda, multiply the measured lambda by the stoichiometric AFR for that fuel. Alternatively, to recover lambda from an AFR, divide AFR by the stoichiometric AFR for that fuel as sited from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air%E2%...l_ratio#Lambda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air%E2%80%93fuel_ratio#Lambda)

ok well going by the gas research site 16.3 is 1.05 lambda which is what im seeing on 1/2-3/4 throttle but on idol im seeing 11.5 which is .75 lambda....i think i need to richen up the idol setting to 15.5 which is 1.00 lambda.......only way i can fix the wot is by maching the metering rod down gradually till i see around .80 lambda on wot
