Im down to the last few things before i can finally get my rego... *Dash, interior and boot lights do not light up - thinking a fuse? *Demister doesn't work, aircon works when it wants to? *Runs a bit rough - injectors or just a good service... Can anyone help diagnose these problems? A solution would be great? Cheers guys. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

*Dash, interior and boot lights do not light up - thinking a fuse? Yep fuse, hey all run off the same cicuit. *Demister doesn't work, aircon works when it wants to? aircon is not part of a roady, front or rear demister? *Runs a bit rough - injectors or just a good service... could be anything, do a full service and spray all your engine loom connectors with wd40 and check your timing.

re air con, the fan and a/c setting switches on VL's are often very touchy and the slightest movement one way or the other can turn them off or on if that's the case you can take them apart and clean the sliding contacts which get dirty and corroded over the years

thanks for the info guys, will fix it all up today. let you know how i go ---------- Post added 19-02-12 at 11:31 ---------- aus880 - you were spot on, if it sits 1mm under the actual groove in the sliders it works, anything over nothing. WOGPSI - still no luck with the lights, might be an absolute stipid question but which fuse is it? i don't understand holden's gibberish on the back of the fuse box lid Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Maybe the wireing? Grab a test light and have a look over, hope that helps.
