yeah it will completely take away everything and your turbo will no longer work either. do not intercool, or your auto will blow, trust me, i blew 3 clutches and 5 gearbox's with an intercooler. worst mod ever

a question is only as stupid as the person answering... No it will add more Turbo sounds and help a lot of flutters and power.

as above if you like the standard VLT whistle don't add an intercooler

with an intercooler you can cut in your AFM to the piping and run a dose pipe... really the only sound you want out of your VLs turbo

^ this man know what he's on about add a screamer pipe in for good measure too if u intercool and run a dose pipe off your turbo, the induction noise will sound loud and much like a jet

The larger the cooler the better.. consider Kenworth or Freightliner intercoolers when you are in the market for one... and plllzzzz cut the bar for beter cooling of the cooler

I dont really want to instal a cooler but it goes so much better on a cool day or at night. And the loud whistle is AWESOME. I saw a pic where someone had a modified stock crossover pipe with intercooler. cant find the pic though now, anyone seen this?

Yeah the main reason i dont want to intercool is i like the look of the standard cross over pipe. Should be able to modify it to accept cooler piping
