Just wondering what's the deal with all the apparent genuine n1 oil pumps on eBay, there as low as $175au in the states and all say there genuine Nissan and come in packaging and gasket. Is this a Chinese scam or are they real? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SKYLINE-N1-OIL-PUMP-JDM-GENUINE-NISSAN-RB25-RB26-/250976280154?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item3a6f5a1e5a#ht_500wt_689 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SKYLINE-N1-OIL-PUMP-JDM-GENUINE-NISSAN-RB25-RB26-/250976280154?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6f5a1e5a#ht_500wt_689) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Nissan-N1-oil-pump-RB20DET-RB25DET-RB26DETT-/220817136311?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item3369ba1ab7#ht_2585wt_989 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Nissan-N1-oil-pump-RB20DET-RB25DET-RB26DETT-/220817136311?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3369ba1ab7#ht_2585wt_989)

I doubt that they are genuine N1 items for that price.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-SK...ht_6133wt_1390 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-SKYLINE-GTR-STAGEA-CEFIRO-LAUREL-N1-OIL-PUMP-RB26-RB25-GASKET-/220891591738?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336e2a343a#ht_6133wt_1390) You can see the nissan genuine parts sticker on that one, im pretty sure that would be a genuine one with that part number.

I don't think they're ideal with a 30 because unmodified, they pump too much oil. Someone will need to clear this up, but I think thats the jist of it..

they are being sold by nissan dealers so I'd say more than likely they are genuine parts

pigsy might be able to help me with this one. But if you change to a N1, don't you need to change the oil collects Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You need a crank collar welded on, or grub screwed if you prefer. Either way it requires the removal of the crank im pretty sure. For the same price as the pump, billet gears, crank collar and welding, it would probably make sense just to spend all that money on a wet external (as pigsy already convinced me to do)
