Thought it was about time for me to post this up here lol, I brought this car november 11. the car was purchased with all the good gear in it but the engine hadnt been fully run in when i got it, the car has been to 2 work shops first being MRT who did a real number on the engine............. then the car got worked over by Revzone, they rebuilt the engine again and have been doing the tuning for me ... this car is fairly well known in the liberty world mainly due to the videos below which i was never aware of when i first brought it. Make / Model:Liberty tuned by STI 08 Colour:diamond grey Bodykit:sti Engine Type:2.5 Engine Mods: List of engine parts (2.5 litre) New STI engine block New STI crankshaft Cosworth tri metal big end and main bearings Cosworth conrods Hard Teflon coated Cosworth forged pistons Cosworth CNC machined heads (amazing!!) Cosworth 264/272 camshafts and heavy duty valve springs ARP head studs Cosworth head gaskets Genuine water pump, seals and other gaskets Hondata insulator inlet manifold gaskets 650cc injectors AVO fuel pump assembly Custom ATP turbo charger (good for 22-25psi, currently 14psi) Custom catch tank Stainless steel headers and up pipe(not sure of the brand sorry) 3" stainless stell exhaust with high flow metal cat MRT rear mufflers,*** edit now running a custom revzone rear section of exhaust with magnaflow mufflers*** mrt section was holding power back!!!! Custom intake pipe with K&N filter, enclosed under guard with air guide TGV delete Power:currently 260kw atw on 15psi Exhaust:custom 3 inch into 2 2.5in with magna flow mufflers Gearbox:6 spd Diff:standard Brakes: DBA5000 2 piece slotted front rotors DBA4000 slotted rear rotors Ferodo DS performance front brake pads Galfer rear brake pads Braided brake lines Suspension: Whiteline front and rear sway bars Whiteline castor kit Whiteline diff bushes Wheels/Tyres:sti enki Interior:sti trim mrt video of the build as done by previous owner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3uq6Pql3Sw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roE0L...eature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roE0Lx3vwt8&feature=related) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWl6S...eature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWl6SBEMgPE&feature=related) part 2 and 3 is a bit like them trying to sell the car... wank factor ---------- Post added 07-02-12 at 11:26 ---------- when i first got the car it wasnt running the best and had this issue which i thought was the rev limiter kicking in but it was in fact boost completely dropping off as seen in the boost graph in red, the car was also not running enough boost, the blue line was from the last tune with the previous owner, you can also see in the power and torque graphs that it was making more power before and the turbo/ boost was an issue. the car also had another issue where it was lagging too much and we pulled the exhaust off and the car picked up 40kw instantly, i thought it must have had a blocked cat but it turns out that the rear mrt section was restricting it so thats when i had the rear section Y and mufflers put on, we went from twin 2in mrt system to a custom 2.5in system, now the power was back these graphs below are from when it was done, the different power levels are for the SI drive that this car has Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It all depends on how you drive, I've had 3 boxers in the family. Admittedly they're all non turbos, but never had issues with them. Watch out when you change the coolant, the thermostat is at the bottom of the motor. Fill the motor via the to hose first so you don't get a big vapor lock.
