hey people i have purchased a et manifold and much to my it turns out to be a rb20et manifold!!!!!!!! of course it was advertised as a rb30et otherwise i would not have touched it! does anyone know the cfm difference between these manifolds? i see there are t2 to t3 adapters i could use, so i am wondering if this will work ok or shall i turf it and wait for a rb30et manifold to come along( yeah right in nz!!!)? only other option is a big doller top mount. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You purchased the one that recently sold on Trademe? Unfortunately alot of people dont know the 20et engine exists so assume the manifold they have is 30et. They look exactly the same, apart from the different turbo flanges. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yes vl dan correct. as your pic shows they are different in cfm right? so would the flow be restricted to turbo if i was to use on my 3l? would this cause overheating? chasing 250rwkw and thinking a internally gated t3/t4 might suit this application.?

I told that guy on TM so many times that it was a 20et mani and not a 30et one

The flow would definately be restricted on an RB30. Considering a standard RB30 NA has around 100rwkw I think youd be pushing to reach 250rwkw with the smaller flanged manifold. I practically had to stalk Trademe to get the VLT manifold and was even pretty lucky. They are around, you just have to keep hunting...

yeah cheers sikvlt an vl dan for your input. i have a r32 gtr turbo so i will make up a kit for a rb20et and put on t/m. iam taking him thru dispute tribunal now because he did know about it and it was specifically advertised as rb30et and not aiwi so i should get money back. silly of me not to question about as i usually do. i prefer the look of the lowmount but i think i will save up for a cool steampipe manifold as these look tough also. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
