Hey guys, I dont come on here much anymore. Im selling up. Going to try see if theres interest for my engine and if so ill sell the rest. The details are: Rb26/30 HEAD (supplied by 6boost) - extensively ported - 1mm oversized ferrea valves - performance valve springs - Tighe cams (274 intake, 278 exhaust, 11mm lift) - Adjustable cam gears - cometic head gasket - rear oil drain in back of head returning to sump BOTTOM END - All the usual machining associated with a bottom end like this - Argo rods and CP pistons - nice 8.8:1 compression - Ross harmonic balancer - Jun oil pump - oil restictors in block - JPC sump - half inch head and main studs There were no shortcuts taken on this build. The background is this engine has gone 10.04@139mph with 450rwkw. That was in full street trim, 18psi pump fuel, full exhaust and et streets. The run before the 10.04 was about 10.4 and i noticed it just wasnt pulling as hard past about 6000rpm. So the 10.04 run I changed into second just before I felt it wasnt pulling as hard. I later found out the clamp on the bend coming off the turbo was half off so obviously losing boost. Would easily run a 9 in full street trim If all was good and I could have revved it out more. The engine has done under 1000kms and late 2010 was taken to the mechanics for a tune after a bigger wategate was fitted. The engine started to smoke after taking it off the dyno. Upon inspection was found to be a melted piston due to a faulty injector. I let it sit for a while and late last year took the engine in to be fixed. It has basically been fully stripped, head checked, every cylinder checked and freshly built. The engine is still at the mechanics so can be inspected. I have lost interest at the moment and want to start a business. If you are intersted ring or pm me.
