leave the standard globe/s in and just paint your interior green incl inside the boot, it'll give the same effect

Cheapest neons you'll find will be on pccasegear.com.au they're for computers but 12v so can be modded for your car. You want to use a relay to turn them on and off with your interior and or boot light, you'll work it out

run the rear boot light of your boot light switch, the switch that engages and dis engages when you open the boot which is when your light in the boot turns on or off. And for the interior just paint the overhead light green it may be strong enough

Make sure you get them under your car also so it makes it look like it's floating Green would be better though as it will make your car look like a UFO For more effect get a sticker like this on your bonnet Happy new year Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Firstly you'll need a12v power in your boot. do the placement if switches how you usually would but instead of using spst (switch on when pushed) used the other type of spst (switch off when pushed). so when your boot or door is closed the switch will be off (lights won't be on). i know some good areas to instal these without causing any interference.

If you must have neons just piggy back of the wires for the interior light, I used to have blue ones in the back of the wagon when it opened it looked like i was setting up a kebab stall so i took em out. Buy whatever neons you want (wire ones would be easiest to install) put one under each seat, one in each wheel well and then run the wires to the roof where you add a splitter to the interior light. Its easy and doesn't need relays or even switches.
