two problems, 1 is when the cars revs get too high it turns itself off, sometimes backfires too, and if i turn it off, it won't start until it's cold again. the other one is, now when i'm driving, the car sounds really sluggish and sounds like it's struggling, and it chugs heaps, is this the airflow meter? it's a manual too if that makes a difference, cheers guys.

I have a 99 VT and I seem to be having the same dramas. I've had a new thermostat, water pump, radiator and all belts, Fuel pump and new fuel tank, crank angle sensor. The car is fine as long as you keep the revs up but I deal with stop start traffic everyday and the stupid thing shakes and conks out, whenever the car is stationary- It's struggling!the DL module is the only thing I have left to try.... if its sluggish and sounds like its struggling do a quick DIY exhaust leak check because you may be loosing back pressure, this is easily done with a scrunched up old rag, put it firm against your exhaust whilst the car is still running, if you hear a pissing sound, you have a leak, if you hear nothing it should be right, i had the same thing on my vs around a month back and now its all fixed. may also need a new IAC motor, but get it properly tuned by the guys at holden.
