I've tried to push it out hydraulically with the grease but being an auto bush
There is no shoulder there for the grease to get behind like with a manual.
Any ideas appreciated.

Drill a hole though it then hit it with a cold chisel. Then hit the side to loosen it up and it should fall out.

when i did it i filled the bush up with grease and got a socket that just fit in the whole and then filled the socket with grease and gave it a good tap a few times and it should just pop out. ive tried a few things and that way has worked best for me.

Is it not called a spigot bush, I'm sure it needs to come out to get the manual
Bush in. ??? Am I wrong

There is a spigot on the converter to locate it in the crank.. It is a steel ring, not really a bush as such but, it does need to be removed when doing a manual conversion or fitted when doing an auto conversion..

1 (eazy) weld inside to shrink its easy with mig (or if your good with a stick welder )
2 (lucky) need soft mild steel or ( hard brass rod) just bigger than the bushes id do not fully pack with grease as you need to get a start if bush dosent move and brass jammed drill hole through brass pack with grease go again
3 (harder and time consuming plus cost) go to liquid air get hot ice then pack it in on and around give it heaps of time be patient get it as cold as then heat gun (best) around the out side or (hair dryier) then pock prod pry tap but wear safety glasses some times they will shatter bits fly off
4 tell everone you know that your going to be pissed off really soon then send the miss down to buy you a carton of your favourate drink and pick up a realy dear little cold chisel that will fit inside said bush ask her if she can call into so and so`s houseyou know one of her rello`s that your not so good with and borrow a pillow
dont drink the beer when she gets home you will need to see what your doing
grab the pillow get the cold chisel start from the back of the bush and smash it up
when bits break off move to the next bit dont gouge your crank up its a tought way to do it and it can be done just look hit look hit look hit
