Changed... Although, if they close it it would effectively stop the production anyway as they would be closed... LOL All we would be left with is Vauxhalls and Chevys...

Scare tactics by the bosses I would say(but you never know)Aussie plays a major part in there world network for GM.Intersting times for sure! Cheers Marty

Aussie is a very important part of GM - a hell of a lot of products are designed and tested there, not just Holdens -the new Camaro is just one (fine) example. Aussie is the centre of excellence for rear drive programmes. Local manufacturing could disappear but design and engineering would possibly carry on. Would be an extremely sad time, and mark the end of an era. No-one builds rear drive cars like GM - we would end up with some yank tank sh1t box to replace Commodore. Not cool.
