hey all, well its come time to get abit more power out of my little 3.8 eco tec, i'm not going to bother with doing an entire converstion to a 5lt so i've come to the decision that a super 6 wil be the way to go, my cousins a mechanic and can do all the work, iv'e recieved some advice, but very minimal, i was looking for a broader view on the whole topic from some more power house junkies. My plans are too stock supercharge my vs, now iv'e been advised to buy a donor car and transfer everything into my car, something like a super6 stato or calais, is this wise ?, what work is involved in terms of changing tailshafts, diffs, computers, looms ect... Would a side mount supercharger be a cheaper option or shall i stick to genuine gmh parts ?, sorry guys im real oblivious to all this and im just really curious , and the biggest question, what will i be expecting to pay for all this on road? Keep in mind me and my cousin will be doing all the labour. thanks for your time and consideration folks i really appriciate it . Regards sle3per. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You would probably be much better off buying a Supercharged V6 Calais and putting onto it any parts off your car that may be better than whats already on the Calais. Will be a lot less work and you will have a better spec car with all the good bits. Corsa

dont waste your money man!, ask your self what for? waste all that cash for something that is going to be more work than its worth! re sale wont be the best, your better off saving your dollars and doing as you said start a vl project and keep your 6 banger as a daily my 2c
