gday lads just trying to find out what model number msd 6al suits the RB30 and which coil to use with it cheers

I use the msd6a Pretty sure the 'l' just means it had rev limit feature built into it... Works fine with my motec and ICE coil.

Any of them will work,i have a 6btm on mine only because i had it already.Just a case of leaving the rev lim chip out and not hooking up the timing master part of it.I use an msd blaster coil aswell

hry i got a msd 6Al on mine with a 6000 chip in n i use a ICE coil... works great...

I had a Mallory Hyfire 6a (same thing as a MSD6a) & i used the stock coil. Worked fine.
