written off vs statesman??

i have a vs statesman written off about a month ago now insurance is all finnshed assesing it and i choose to buy bak for very small price i was wondering does anyone know where i can sell the car off to once i grab the parts i wanna sell like a wreckers that will offer me good money or someone that collects ride offs? im in melbourne endeavour hills so please let me know if anyone else had this before

you wont get much more than 200 from the wreckors or scrap companys

as above I wouldn't waste my time and effort doing what you propose let the insurance co have it, you'll end up getting very little $ for an old damaged statesman and have to deal with people only wanting a few small cheap parts

Oh ye fair enough well the insurance company gave me 2,900 for the cover of the car and i keep car so i sorta wanna sell some parts to get abit of $ most people when they saw the car said i can make good money sell the stuff thats in good nick like engine obously the diff tranny crse has a shift kit in it and im gonna take out the sssl springs etc bt i wanna sell the shell off to someone anyone got place in mind in melb?

sims metal, they pay about $150 a tonne, so you should get atleast $9000 for a vs statesman
