Got a vt ss... looking to get ve r8 wheels, the 19x8 fronts should be fine... but the 19x9.5 rears the the 275 rubber is the issue.. what do ppl thing..Cheers Guys

Never tried with factory wheels personally but my little brother was doing it with some guard mods up the back on his VX SS. I have a mate in WA who runs a 295 on a stock rear end VY SV8 with the correct offset and rim.
