slim subs vs normal subs

hey guys just wondering if theres any diffrence between slim subs to normal subs, quality and so on??

From the systems ive listened to "normal" subs have alot more bass than slim lines. I doubt you'll be able to find too many high output slim lines (most are around 250-300rms) they are mainly used for a little bit more bass and if you dont want to lose space. Also because the slim line box is alot smaller the sub will not pump as hard as it would in a "normal" sized box

slims are rubbish ur better off getting a good set of 6x9 s' cause ur getting bass and treble

slim subs make for slim bass.....not BIG FAT DEEP BASS Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if you can fit the noraml box do it.. only if your in a ute or small hatch go slim because having a smaller cab it works well..

Bass is all about pressure(db). The less movement in the subs = less pressure. Therefore less movement = less bass. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

slim subwoofers in all caseshave slim voice coils and diaphragms. Because its so slim the subwoofer can't move its diaphragm back and forth too well. Thus, crappy bass reproduction.
