Just after some info, if anyone has any info on large 12volt batteries(sealed). I having a few issues with running a battery in the boot. The Battery I had in their originally was sealed but wasn't strong enough to start the car. But after I replaced the battery with a unsealed truck battery I haven't had any issue's. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks

Geez, Somebody must know if they make a sealed 12volt truck battery. Or maybe I should get the power leak fixed LOL. Might be allot of money knowing the price of a election to do work on your car.

What he supplied would be suffiecent. It was funny that after the normal 12volt sealed battery was flat after a few days. I placed a larger unseal 12volt battery in. It's been fine since. That's why I'm thinking it either has to be the size of the battery or the CCA. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well I've never seen odessey's used In mining, not sayin they aren't good, I think there upside is they are light, we use optimas all the time to replace n200's In big gear as an upgrade, they put up with alot of ****, like anything U'll get the odd one that fails, but have seen quite a few still going after 5 years. I've got 2 red tops and a yellow top I'n my vehicles and never had an issue

I just run an n70zzmf they are about $175 retail something like 760cca 2 year australia wide warranty through exide. Idealy you should run an earth wire from the battery to a starter motor block.. mine was turning over real slow now it cranks like it should. Exide do a battery which is slightly bigger than the n70 which is 950cca as well they are only about $210

That's definitely the key aspect of putting a battery in the boot. Most people just run the earth to the body in the boot. There are too many joins between panels to get a reliable low resistance connection this way. The earth connection is equally important as the power connection. The water & hose analogy works for me. If you run a 50mm diameter hose to a point 100m away, then reduce it to a 25mm diameter hose back to the start point, it's obvious that the flow will be restricted by the 25mm hose. Electrical current works exactly the same way.
