U do realize the deck height on a 25 bottem end is 50mm shorter then the 30, Davo with the silver 25 has a 6boost mani and has to jack up the motor an *** around with the passenger side eng mount every time he puts it on or takes it off, were jack has a 25/30 and with the extra deck height has no issues with the same manifold! Something to look into.

how often are you taking your exhaust manifold off to worry about the extra nut on the engine mount.

trying to change a head gasket makes it a nightmare not being able to just unblot the manifold and pull it of, it's not that u do it all the time, but when u do it's nice to know u don't have to jack the engine up to get it out!

i have too remove my wastegate, turbo, manifold and dump just too remove my rocker cover. Tight bays for the win.

Whether it's extra effort or not is not the point, did u also know that a 25 jd plenum doesn't fit with a 25/30 because of the extra height! It's worth asking b4 lashing out and buying something that in the end isn't a "direct bolt on" to suit ur own application and spendin money twice trying to modify ****!

ok thanks for the heads up mo i have decided to stay low mount for now anyway but when it comes down to going bigger and needing highmount i will contact kyle for a manifold. and mine is just a rb25 so with a inlet from jd i shall be fine there

I brought a chinese XTR stainless manifold for 25/30 & the manifold may as well of been hitting the strut tower.. 6boost baby almost cut my finger on the collector they are the business. ---------- Post added 16-12-11 at 17:58 ---------- Also with the plenums.. I did a cut and shut stock plenum & it was hitting the bonnet.
