What type of metal is the intake manifold ??

hey guys need to weld up the bleed bolt hole as i made a mess of drilling and tapping it the first time, and yeh drill and tap it again. someone told me if its aluminium/alloy i may be able to just fill it with a heat torch if anyone has any ideas on the best way to fix this let me know. thanks

Cast aluminium. Tig

Yeah it's cast aluminium, you'll need to tig it up or drill it out n tap it to a bigger size, just be careful when torquing the bolt up as it doesn't need alot of tension before it strips the aluminium
