only thing I can suggest is injectors? or the filters inside them being blocked.. or just some grounding wiring somewhere or possibly your TPS. is your ECU throwing a code? could be timing or maybe its leaning out? would have to be there and hear it. does it struggle or do anything out of the ordinary before it hits 2500

Sounds like classic CAS open circuit, since you mention it only happens when it's warm. Possibly a break further down the loom? The Gregorys/etc aftermarket manuals have details on how to check for open circuits with a multimeter between the plugs at sensors at where they enter the ECU.

just went thru the same thing with my daily, pull the dash cluster cover off and check all the plugs are connected to the cluster properly

mine did this. it was the cas plug. wires were heating up and breaking contact when it got too hot. ongoing battle. in the end just replaced the plug entirely.

Try battery and connectors! Also where your earth goes on to you block! Could be loose or dirty!

dtall it up on the brake and try and get it on boost, see if theres a difference? if it comes on boost and revs abit better then that means its leaning out off boost maybe

I would check your fuse box and make sure all relays and fuses are ok. I had an issue where the relay for the fuel pump was starting to melt and it would cut in and out. Pull them all out and check them one by one. Sorry i meant fuse/relay block was melting, not the actual relay.
