Lowering my vl calais

Just wondering if super super low springs are legal height? I want it to be just legal so I'm tossing up between sl and ssl. Thankyou!

Call a suspension shop, they have actual measurements and not hear say and third hand stories.

old rule was aloud to lower a viehicle 2/3rds of its bump stop hieght new rule must have 100mm ground clearance from lowest point (but not from u bolts springs or brake backing plates) anything else is fair game for them both rules still apply but ssl in anything is race track only made to corner not to carry five people i remember we asked king springs to do special order sl but with bigger wire 1mm fatter stiff as **** low as mud didnt punch the stops out everyone in the car cant do it these days but torana front coils cut down to fit the rear vl was the same ride
