Hey Everyone, just woundering if anyone could help me out, Im looking for a good place to get my car re sprayed ? Im from down south. I have owned the car for a year now and its like the clear coat has just washed away. Just wanted to know what do the prices vary from and what you get ? And can anyone recommend a place. Help would be much apriciated, thanks

One of the CT Bunbury guys dads ran a paint shop in Bunbury i thought? PM Felany, he will know who Ian Guppy in Collie does absolute top quality work, not cheap though and hates vl window rust

And didnt even think of Ian Guppy his son Luke helps me out from time to time with my VL. Thanks for that mate.

Definitely do the ring around and get as many quotes as you can but also have a look at the level of work they put out cause a cheap job may show. It wouldn't help to give the prep work a go yourself. I'm not saying paint it yourself but you could do most or at least some of the prep work to save some coin.

The prep work is the most important part of a respray though, go cheap there and it doesnt matter who paints it.

Dan I'm not saying do all the prep work, just stating that you can do a lot yourself when it comes down to it.

even just pulling all the trims and **** off yourself will save you heaps

Take it to someone in perth if you can. From what ive seen most shops in bunbury arent good enough, runs in paint etc. that being said. Ive heard the guy from halifax panel and paint is into modified cars and can do a good job
