Cracks in Side Plastic Panels

Hello on my VL on one of the side pannels it has a few cracks, how would i fix that, Putty and sand it? or is it not worth the hassle. also if i took of the plastic panels off how do i put them back on, glue? if so what type Thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Your best off ripping the old ones off and replacing them. I went down the road of trying to repair them and in time the cracks reappear. Use some sikaflex to stick them back on

alright thanks, ill be better off buying a cheap vl without damaged panels for parts or go to wreckers

plastic weld. or spend ages hunting for replacements thin bead of suckaflex + double sided tape. when you pull them off yopu wuill see where these respectively go.

just replace it mate, still easy to get those parts in good 2nd hand condition, no point in ****ing around wasting time repairing them

Have similar with my Calais. Want to spray the lower half but my panel beater suggested replacing the cracked moulds. He reckons anything you do won't last and the cracks will show up again in no time. Looking for a driver door upper mould myself.
