I got on earlier and couldnt find any of my threads in the fs cars bikes boats then i received a pm saying i have had 71 cars posted since i started in 09! Does anyone enquire the reasons why first before going and removing threads? Most of the cars wernt even mine i was advertising for mates that dont have accounts? Is there any rules against doing that cause i cant find anything?

Must have alot of mates. Get them to sell thier own cars.

So i dont think im guna get a straight answer as to were its says i cant sell for mates? If mods are guna do that maybe they should look through everyone elses threads cause theres heaps of ppl that have different cars up every week

Feel free to post those links up and we'll check it out. In short - there's a limit to how many cars a person can sell without a license. You've sold (or listed) 23 cars a year. So either you're selling them commercially, or you're breaking the law. If it's commercial, then we don't allow advertising for business without sponsorship. If it's the latter, and they're not your cars. Get your friends to sign up.

The reason i sell for most of my mates is cause they dont no alot about cars or go on the net much so its easier for them to get me to sell-swap there cars cause i no what im looking at, im not a dealer or breaking the law i work full time as a detailer i was only trying to help mates out now im getting punished for it! As for all the other ppl doing it i dont want to rat anyone out but all u gota do is go through a few pages n see some will have several cars on here! I no another bloke from down the line that does the same thing sells cars for his mates

I tried to tell the cop that the other guy was speeding too... but he still gave me the fine. If you're able to advertise 71 cars for friends then you should open a car dealership just for them, you'd make a fortune.

bit off topic but just curious, how many cars is the limit before you need a license? ive sold a ****load over the years (all mine apart from 1 or 2) and never had an issue with vicroads, i get bored easily lol, but wont be selling any for a while now as im pulling my CT apart and going from the ground up so ****ta daily it is for me!! just wondering what the limit is if anyone knows?

It depends if your making money off it that should be taxed or not and who you upset who then dobs you in kinda deal.. its not massively enforced.
