BUMP
where is everyone at with their cars now? time to start getting ready for summer!!
over uni holidays i have:
painted 80% of my bumpers/molds
mounted fuse box under dash and finished wiring up everything in the car
put my 25 head on a new na bottom end with a cometic head gasket
installed a direct twin plate clutch
picked up my rims to run front runners and slicks
installed my venetians sides and rear
left to do:
find a drivers door mold, paint lhs molds
get ecu unlocked and base map put on it
put front and rear bumpers back on and put chrome strips on
put dash back together
tune
skids
easy
so what does everyone have to do for summer?

Put the new turbo on, make new exhaust and cooler piping, sell wheels buy new wheels, rwc, mod plate, rego, lpg compliance, find a new tail gate and paint, have it detailed and tuned....sell

finish smoothing bay, paint, fit diff and gear box,re wire, tune..skids =)

Smooth engine bay
Wire in unmeltable fuse rail
Get car painted refit engine and box
Weld diff axel tubes
Get more avgas
Get windows fitted
Get interior trimmed
Get more shiny parts for engine bay
Start dropping 3rd

Lol was to afraid at motivation incase I put it in to the wall but once it's together il go practice somewhere should be back out around the end of the year cheers mate

13-07-12, 19:45 GMT+10#15 Well with my vl i removed the rb30et and gearbox and ecu and loom. Currently doing a 1jz + C4 conversion. But still in early stages. Got Front sump conversion done and just sourcing more parts.

and what are you gonna do about the exhaust on the wrong side?
and why 1j? why not 25?
seems like a fair bit of work, nice to be different though.

C4 because i have one laying around in my shed. 1JZ cause i love the sound and yes something different. Also the strength of the 1j in stock form. But yes will be alot of work, hence i am taking my time..

13-07-12, 23:21 GMT+10#20 Gold whore is gone now :/ so it just the black Calais left, been spending a fair bit of cash lately, well a fair bit of my apprentice wages :/. It all started as a catch can didn't fit and now the engine bay is stripped bar motor and there's all new hot side, should be smoothing the bay soon when the weather clears up. I'll do a build thread on it soon.
