hey, just got me a turbo setup for my calais and had seen a setup where the crossover pipe was replaced by intercooler piping on a standard turbo setup and the afm was fitted between the turbo and the inlet. has any one does this and does it affect the afm at all (i.e. how does the car run) cheers george

Been covered alot on the forum dude. Putting the afm in the piping rather than infront of the turbo will stop it over fueling when you back off when boosting.

Sorry man my phone isnt loading the search function. Will the overfueling cause the motor to flood or just run rough? Its just temporary until i get the cooler kit made up.

You can run the afm infront of the turbo without any problems it just runs rough for a second after you back off from boosting because the afm gets a false reading and over fuels. just don't put it to close to the throttle body if you do put it in the piping.
