Hey everyone Just looking at these stickers on my vl. There's 2 black pinstripes down the side and some weird fade-out circle things (not sure how to explain) on the lower half of the sides. Just wondering if it means it's limited edition? Was reading on a different forum website that it means limited edition, but i don't think it would be.. But then again I haven't seen this on any/many other vls. I can upload pics of the lower stickers if you want Thanks

Oh ok, was that yes to it being limited edition? Thanks for reply ---------- Post added 10-11-11 at 22:41 ---------- never had a badge saying "limited edition" though.. been in my family it's whole life, so i know it hasn't anyway, here's a pic: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It's just some stickers on the outside, nothing massively special... inside I think you'll find it came with some different looking cloth, maybe a few electrics included or some berlina doortrims. An SL base with a few extras is essentially what it is, I think they were all made in 1988.

also, to jordy, this is from the VIN reader on the website: Your car is a Holden SL/Executive Commodore Sedan From the factory it was equipped with the Non-Turbo Nissan RB30E producing 114kw at the flywheel. It was produced in 1986 at the Melbourne plant

well i know it's an 86. it's got a clock where most dashboard's tacho is, dunno if that was an option or not when buying the car, though. (unless it's a limited edition thing), but again, it doesn't say limited edition anywhere on the car.. they're not aftermarket, they've been there since new. came with chrome doorhandles, not sure if they were optional either or limited ed. it really is weird though.. all limited editions i've seen actually have "limited edition" written on them.. mine has it nowhere, yet it has the stickers, chrome handles and clock. (once again sorry if those are just optional features, i'm not sure) I'll get some pics of the interior soon
