i have a morning blue over mx berlina turbo 87 lw5, wanting to find out a few things,
pin strip on all or some? colours?
hub caps.. silver or dark gray?
also other things that i might not even know
any info would help, thanks
Im pretty sure the pin is on all berlina's and the colors are thick red on top and a skinny silver one on the bottom. I think it is something like 6ml and 3ml
I have an 87 Fully original LW5 MX7 Berlina in Alpine white. Mine has no pin striping on it. As far as i'm aware, this is one of the few colours thats doesn't. Also pretty sure the hubcaps are usually silver, unless of course they had factory optioned alloys.

mine had pinstripe.. was blue
hubcaps are silver with black 'holden'
rear garnish and lights have gray going through the middle
exactly pin stripe was an option, so was other things like the pin stripe going along from the headlight - across the doors - boot - doors on other side and back to the headlights, all turbo hubcaps were silver with black in all the little studs around the face of it and the holden in BLACK not red
Also the pin stripe i mentioned came in white, black and gold

thanks boys, whats ur thought of choosing colours n were do i get it from any info what the orginal pin strip colours wer.. abit worried the red pink strip wont flow with the blue duco.. pics?
also did garnish have commodore badge
yer garnish has a commodore badge, pinstripe you can buy of ebay for 43 bux lol reproduced
As for the pin stripe not suiting your off your face, look at tomo's berlina turbo off here, it looked amazing!
Are you leaving the motor standard? ill search for caps for you cause like i said on fb i wanna keep mine
