Help vs heater not working

A few things could cause that :-
1 - Vacuum line has come off the heater valve
2 - The switch for the heater is broken
3 - The heater valve itself is broken or someone has bypassed it altogether , maybe because the heater core was leaking water.
These are only possibilities I'm throwing at you.
