Slap a powerdyne on it. or stroke it 200rwkw isnt too hard with keeping the bunch of bananas on it.

i should have stated if its possible as a n/a making 200rwkw, i want to keep the standard appearance, if its possible without stroking the motor ?

If you want to keep it n/a stroke it man to get that sort of power with a bunch of bananas manifold a 355 would be a nice streeter so much torque and well mannered street car.
There also not all too pricey for a stroker kit these days.
But yeah not too sure what would be needed for 200rwkw as a 304 with that manifold.
Its all going to be in the heads and cam combo.

A big cam and head work should just get you there with the factory manifold and stroke

Twin cat zorst, open the airbox up, remove clutch fan, lighten the flywheel, cam and have a dyno chip made for it will see 200kw from the standard stroke.

'Biggest' cam that you can go with the standard manifold is abuot 220@.050. i.e. not big, before you actually lose power.
If you can do the work yourself, stroke it, if you can't bolt on a charger.
It is not worth the trouble of playing around with an NA EFI 5 litre for that sort of power.
200kw at the flywheel yes, 200kw at the wheels, no chance.

To get what you want, you need to flow the heads and a big cam, to run a big cam you need comp, if your going to strip the motor to up your comp you might as well stroke it.

If you put a cam larger than around 220@ .050", you will LOSE performance with the standard manifold.

28-11-11, 20:44 GMT+10#11 hey buddy if you only want 200 kw just get your heads ported and decked to put some comp into it, port you manifold and put a larger throttle. a custom hydraulic roller cam matched to your combo, pacemaker extractors and that will give you the 200+ your aiming for with great drivability. and no anything larger than 220@50 doesnt necessarily "lose" performance with the right combination it can gain performance. a friend of mine made 193kw at the wheels with a crane 224 hydraulic unported heads just decked for more comp.

28-11-11, 22:14 GMT+10#12 Standard appearance ...... Im gonna suggest a remote mount turbo set up . Will be a much nicer car to drive with the ability to make more down the track . An na set up will need another intake manifold especially a stock 304 stroke motor , especially a high comp 1 .

30-11-11, 08:42 GMT+10#14 You don't have to touch the heads for 200kw.

We are talking @ the wheels aren't we ? Where do you get your motors built?

03-12-11, 17:04 GMT+10#16 It could be done with the standard heads but you would need a different inlet manifold like a Starr that looks like a stock banana manifold but is bigger or maybe a Trickshift or HSV twin throttle body set up.

Well, a straight through twin 2.5 inch exhaust system can get a 304 v8 up to 200 KW at the flywheel , so I think a stage 2 cam & MEM-CAL on top of that would get you that at the rear wheels easily.
Assuming the car is a manual, you'd need to achieve about 250 kw at the flywheel to get what you're after, about 260 kw (bugger all difference) if it's an automatic.
