fella's, had a stereo in my vy, dvd headunit splits rear door speakers dual 12" subs amp for subs amp for speakers this setup worked fine n sounded mad, felt the need to upgrade the subs bought dual 12" kickers, thought it'd be as easy as changing the subs BUT, the whole system only works sometimes, everything else is the same apart from the subs.. ive checked EVERYTHING i can think of, checked fuses, checked wiring, checked grounds, checked the back of the unit, the only thing i can think of is the remote wire, or the fuse at the battery could be faulty? - i've heard this can happen today i was lucky enough to have it playing the whole day but when it got loud the whole thing cut out. if anyone has any information or ideas please let me know! EDIT: the amp matches the subs lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Mate which amp and sub are you using? If your subs are DVC coils you *may* have loaded the amp down to an unsafe impedience which could have caused the amp to shut down to prevent damage. IF you advise of model of amp and subs I can tell you which is the best way to wire them. Hope this helps?
