Hey guys, ive had my vs calais now or 7 months and am thinking about giving it some more HP. Im not very knowlegable on v8 but am getting real into to now. So far ive done the following, brand new HSV memcal, direct cold air intake, an cat back exhaust. Funny enough since doing this, ive felt a great deal of power from when i first bought the car. Just wanting to know what things u guys have done with your 304 an if its worth doing it up or changing it over to a GEN3. i would like to achive 400 horses at the rear. And also if u guys know anyone good in sydney that does work for v8's. I was gonna take it to sams performance but would like to here bout your thoughts CHEERS

if you want 400rwhp. put a blower and cooler setup on it. or sell up and buy an ls1 and cam it. big bucks to go 400rwhp with an n/a motor. advanced performance machining are the go with engines, aaron and steve are down to earth and will give you as much info as you want last i heard, sam doesnt really tough holden v8s much now, all the ls series stuff. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If your budget allows i'd go the ls1 swap it would make that power much easier . Good luck keeping that arse end in the car though
