Has anyone ever used these aftermarket headlights/indicators? Some feedback would be appreciated...

Have seen fitted on a car before and they seemed a perfect fit.
Haven't used them before so I wouldn't know how durable they are but DEPO is linked to TYC I think, so perhaps those who have used tyc might be able able to vouch for them.

I used TYC branded ones on my old car and was pretty happy. No complaints in the year or so that I had them on.

They will brighten up the front end of my VL, Im just worried that after a year or two they will go dull, and water will leak through into them.

I had a set of repro's, fitted like **** around the edges, next to no adjustment in them due to outer case being wrong. I ended up gutting my oem ones and repros and assembling a half decent set out of the two, but I am picky. The indicators did fit up well to the oem cases.
Edit: if you look at fly03l pics you can see the lines around the top of the lights are different, this is the same problem I had. To the normal eye probably no problem but as I said im picky

01-11-11, 22:41 GMT+10#11 if you have a bit of time to fuck around, just disassemble your genuine light, harvest the reflector from your new light, and them re-assemble with the new reflector in place.

02-11-11, 09:43 GMT+10#13 I thought they were reproductions.
Back when I went looking for original lights about 3 years ago I was told that it was impossible to get a brand new right hand headlight, and I think the LH side was a ridiculous price.

I know every little detail about my car, always notice attention to detail pieces.
to me, theyre better cause they improve the look of the car.
I will one day swap the lense for my original lights and restore the glass.

12-11-11, 18:19 GMT+10#16 We use depo stuff from all crash parts at work most of there stuff is really good only thing I've had a problem with is ba falcon mirrors that don't rotate as far as genuine. I've use tyc (SSS autoparts brand) in 3 vl's and 2 vh's I've owned and never had a problem
