where to run a rear ipod cable? vt/vx

hi guys got a pioneer dvd head unit putting in atm wondering where you guys have run the ipod cable running out the back of the unit? cheers kane

I ran mine to the glove box in the VZ.

Yeah in my vx i also ran mine to my glove box. All depends if you can control the ipod.phone through you head unit, if so then the glove box is ok, if not then you need it within reach. Also depends I guess if your using an iphone or ipod, cause you may also want your phone within reach? Not whilst driving of course Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Glove box for mine too. I did think about the centre console could be nice too. But at least glove box you can lock to keep iPod a little more safer

ran mine into my center console (VY) main reason is just so im able to grab it as i leave the car more easier

The reason for running the Ipod to the glove box is because the Alpine IVA-502E controls everything of the ipod on the touche screen. No need to touch the Ipod once it's connected. What you see on the ipod will display on the alpine screen. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
