Hi, my vlt auto wasnt kicking down to first so I put some pipe on the accelerator kickdown switch and it now kicksdown. only trouble is it revs to 6300 before changing to second after a kickdown. on a standing start it runs through the gears fine but changes 1st to second at 4400 revs. why the difference? when should they change? i recon it should be about 5500 or so under both circumstances. help appreciated!

just fixed kickdown switch, now always revs to 6500 before changing. 4500 without kickdown switch connected. Is there an adjustment anywhere? HELp
