hi every one i am now the proud owner of a manual vp ss stroked out to 383. it's got a mini spool heavy clutch hardened tail shaft and is stupidly fast. but that's all i know about the car! i don't know the fuel system it's running i don't know what's controlling the injectors i don't know what size the injectors are i don't know if the internals are forged etc, etc. where do i start? any suggestions?

get the part numbers off the parts you can see and search the part number, take the kick pannel out and see if its a stock computer, cant check for internal work unless you pull it down, wtf is a hardend tailshaft?

the only way you'l ever know is to pull the engine out and get an engine builder to pull it down and check it out. so dont waste your time doing that, drive it until something goes wrong then check it out.

seriously though, put up some pics for us to see what manifold, heads, pipes its running ect... get under the car checkout the fuel system, there might even be way to measure the stroke by poking something through a spark plug hole and turning the engine over by hand
