looking at buying a genuine VN Calais 5 litre, 5 speed manual it has 180k on clock paint white over champagne bumpers need repainting but other than that good. interior is good for age. just wondering what it would be worth as is and if it was in really good condition. thinking of tidying it up a bit and selling it again wondering what I can expect price wise? dont have picture just after ball park figure. :-)

If it needs a paint job, you wont make money. 2 to 2.5k as is with terrible paint max with no mods 3.5k to 4k in good condition, maybe more if it was immaculate without a single mark and in showroom condition. Would have to be well under $1000 for you to even get close to making your money back with a cheapish full respray. Then you have to find someone willing to pay that. This is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
