Hi Guys, I am just in the process of stripping the paint off my standard BA turbo crossover section. Its turning out to be a major pain in the ass. What is the best way to remove the paint without doing damage to the crossover (scratches) I am just using normal paint stripper that is used for automotive paints. Is there anything else I can use to speed up the process?

I plan on getting it polished. Should I maybe apply thinner?

whats it made out of? assuming ally? paint shops sell a product called a clean and strip disk, goes on either a grinder or a drill. its a woven plastic mesh in a disk that will remove paint but not damage metal

Wrap the section which you have covered in paint stripper with glad wrap. It seems to stop it evapourating and eat into the paint more
