Ok guys, just seen a mates car back east & not wanting to be out done I want to stroke my Calais.. Now providing I supply parts, 383ci forged, internally balanced, low comp. How much would I be looking at to get the motor stripped, blueprinted, assembled. Roughly. Forget about Removal/installation & tuning that will be sorted. Would I still be able to use the current cam I have - 238/240 @ 50thou Would I need to upgrade heads? Anything else I'm missing please chime in.. Also could anyone recommend a shop in Perth.
