I was running one untill I went dry sump. Its better than any aftermarket pump for the rb as the revs can damage the pump gears from what I have been told. Also you can mod the sump a lot, and have an external pickup which makes it much easyier to fit and remove if needed. Its still a lot more money than a standard aftermarket pump though. I think my pump waas 1k for a single stage moroso and $500 for the sump, $500 to mod the sump and pick up, then more $ for braket and drive kit off the crank.
Depends what your going to use the car for?? Drag a standard aftermarket pump qould be a minimum, probably extended baffeld sump and pick up would be a good investment.
Circuit racing, definetly external wet sump as a minimum.
Street just an uprgade pump would be fine.
Dry sump really is the way to go, yeah its expensive to set up, but do it right and it will last forever, also, price up what your engine is worth, then look at weather getting oil to it at all times is something you want to skimp and save on??
For what I do it would be stupid not to dry sump it. Depends what your going to do, an extended baffled wet sump is a hell of a lot better than standard.
