Hey guys just wondering if any one has any ideas. I have a converted calais witch misses/surges after 3500rpm. mainly in 3rd and 4th gear. I have changed plugs and gapped them down to .8 could it be leaning out. I have turbo injectors and 3ta computer just got me stuffed

Do the symptoms come up when the car is hot? Or just all the time? Make sure u have good earths etc too.....

check your plugs, mine was doing the same. wacked in new plugs and it ran sweet as

cas? do an ecu diagnostic?

Have aclose inspection of the dizzy cap. any cracks or scratches around the inside of the cap between posts? Is the condition of the terminals and rotor button clean or is excessive corrosion built up on them?

i thought spark to but wouldn't it do it all the time. I put in new plugs, still does it could it be staving for fuel under high load

spark problems often occur when it's much more critical for the spark to have only one path to earth hence higher rpm's. sometimes spark problems can be worse under load, similar to fuel supply issues.

All fixed broken dizzy cap couldn't see it as was hiding under intercooler piping thanks for all the replys guys
