$20 000 for a shell no way dont care what car it is

Would like to know the specs of "much more to add on the list". Yes the car has a history but with not motor or box, there is still a lot of money that has to be invested in this $20,000 shell. Take the plates off (if they are included) and it would look like any other yellow ceptor.

lol @ how it's advertised as being the first VL in to the 8 second zone and it WILL go faster... with a stronger motor and box. Ofcourse it ****ing will, itll have a new motor and box.
It was up for sale for mid 30's a while ago but didnt sell.

The cars prob worn out or the best part of its life has passed, but say you rock up too mcdonald bros with a stock VL and want it tubbed, Caged. shocked and diffed.. youd be looking at around 20k?

20k is epic. but for 15... its an awesome car. you are really buying a piece of history. and i haven't seen it in person but it is very very well presented is it not? i mean engine bay you can eat off of? with an aerotech interior and dead straight paint + body.... the cash adds up. 15 i can see 20 is getting high. its a big one off splash and most people i assume would prefer to build in stages and enjoy the learning curve in a drag car.
anyway i clicked watch. i'd love to know how many hundred people are "watch"ing this.

Considering how much it will cost to go do all these mod's separately you wouldn't exactly be losing any money.. For someone looking at tackling a project like this i reckon its a grouse buy!

but the car isnt tubbed or running a 4-link or anything? 20k is wayy too much for this car imo. Put stock turbo driveline (engine and box) in the car so that it's driveable and he MIGHT get 15k for it i reckon. Nonetheless very well presented car, but whether someone is willing to pay 20k for bragging rights to owning the chunk of metal that was propelled down the strip in 8.9sec by someone elses driveline is unknown to me.

i dont think your right there mate , PANNIC was street registered so no novelty plates there ?
if your going back to the original owner , miles used to own this car and was originally a JPC/ATS car back in the day and had garden state plates
go into the JPC workshop and there is a magazine featuring it framed when miles owned it

08-10-11, 22:45 GMT+10#15 Haha I actually remember those days, now I do feel old. ATS we're the bees knees when I first started getting into VL Turbos, I remember they were working on a black one with a AVO 'stage 2' cooler, with more boost... crazy ****!!

09-10-11, 19:30 GMT+10#17 this was on ebay 6 months or so ago, as a roller i wonder how it ended up in qld with all the engine bits? unless they brought it as a complete car?
would be ok for $20 if all this was included

09-10-11, 19:48 GMT+10#19 its pretty obvious now that i looked at the seller history, they sold the two 35/40s of the tube race car, and heaps of other bits, so breschani must still own it! the other parts sold were listed from melbourne,
wish he would just put it back together and race it!! i didnt realise gt42 came out with a t3 flange?? .82 she would have came up nicely on the t/brake must have been a custom turbo

It's pretty irrelevant but the plates are registered to the purple XR6. I heard John wouldnt give them back and the owner of the plates got new ones and listed them as stolen.
