well someone else might comment different but to my knowledge the only difference is the vs is ecu controlled and the vq 'might' be hydraulic. If that's the case the you should need the throttle body bracket for the kickdown cable and another front engine cover because of that cable.
Otherwise they're identical unless ofcoarse one has had work done internally.
