2 questions: can an overflow bottle be positioned BELOW the top level of the radiator? Eg. Under the front right guard behind the bumper? And other question: is it worth running the washer bottle from the boot? Anyone who's done either or have any suggestions it would be appreciated for your feedback. I'm just about finished my inside out upside down in and out build on my calais 5l and don't need that crap in my engine bay... Cheers.

OK not exactly what you were asking for, but no need for lines running to the boot and also keeps the overflow above radiator. Imade up some tanks and installed them into the scuttle area, which you can then cover with vinyl or the like, not a great pic but you get the idea. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
